    Title:- Land Survey Team Leader

    Location Ann Arbor MI (Onsite)

    Job description

    The Land Survey Team Leader will have the opportunity to lead a growing land surveying team. S/he will perform as an operational leader as well as a people-style leader, with the primary focus in the coordination of land surveying workflow and client communication. A secondary focus is mentoring and coaching team members.

    Essential Functions


    • Train, coach, and lead team members in land surveying


    • Determine budget and schedule for land surveying work projects


    • Coordinate the successful completion of survey work product


    • Communication with clients to assure expected client experience


    • Assist with departmental strategy development and implementation


    • Serve as a subject matter expert to the land surveying team

    Required Education and Experience


    • High School diploma or GED equivalent minimum


    • 5 or more years of leadership experience


    • Licensed Professional Surveyor in Michigan beneficial

    Position Type/Expected Hours

    This is a full-time position. Some flexibility in hours is permitted, but s/he must be available during the standard weekday work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    Physical Demands

    This position is a combination of fieldwork, travel-related work, and sedentary work. An employee is regularly required to drive, stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds. An employee may also be required to traverse wooded and/or uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, walk on roofs, enter small spaces, and work in various weather conditions.

    Travel

    There may be some travel required as a part of the Land Survey Team Leader position.
