EBA Engineering, Inc.

(EBA) is seeking a highly motivated field inspector to perform manhole inspections on projects in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties.

This is a part-time, on-call position.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Locate and open manholes.
  • Capture, record, and report external features.
  • Document wastewater features.
  • Document traffic control and environmentally sensitive area access.
  • Identify and document all exposed manholes, manholes in danger of failure, manhole surcharges, manhole overflows, or manhole exfiltration.
  • Prepare and submit daily progress reports.
  • Liaison with homeowners and business owners.
  • Perform office support functions.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to open manhole covers and lift 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 12 hours a day on occasion.
  • Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and twist; use hands to grasp; use arms to reach; raise hands above head; sit; climb; and balance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • NASSCO Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP), Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP), and/or Inspector Training Certification Program (ITCP) certification
  • Confined space training
  • WSSC Water experience
