    General Administrative Assistant

    The General Administrative Assistant provides clerical and office support that requires administrative skills and knowledge. Duties will vary and may include invoicing , file management, ordering supplies and operation of office equipment.

    Requirements

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Responsible for sorting and sending mail.
    • Responsible for accurate invoicing
    • Maintain various business files.
    • Keeps an inventory of office supplies and places orders as needed.
    • Assist with basic accounts payable and accounts receivable, invoicing, creating back-orders, etc.
    • Answers and forwards phone calls.
    • Welcomes visitors to the office, and provides information.
    • Assists in other areas as needed.
    Qualifications & Desired Skills
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1-3 years general office experience
    • Advanced computer skills in MS Office
    • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and complete assignments within deadlines
    • Able to multitask, and maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Desire to grow and broaden skills and knowledge
    Work Environment

    Work is performed primarily in an office environment; some time will be spent in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and dust. PPE is required when in manufacturing. Most work requires use of a computer. High level of social interaction required in order to serve internal and external customers. Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
