Description:
The Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is looking for candidates to join as an Instructor in the Academic Support Staff. This position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability for up to three years. The ideal candidate should have expertise in epidemiology, cancer research, biostatistics, oncology, or genetics, holding a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
Responsibilities may involve participation in cancer epidemiology studies, assisting in study design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant writing.
The selected candidate will have the chance to engage in various aspects of academic epidemiologic research, from conceptualization and grant application to analysis, publication, and dissemination of results.
