About the Department

We are currently seeking a Senior System Engineer for Air SIGINT Systems (m/f/d) to join our "Airborne SIGINT Engineering" department at our location in Ulm.

The "Airborne SIGINT Engineering" department is responsible for the development of airborne telecommunications and electronic reconnaissance systems. This includes conception and design, as well as integration into carrier systems and acceptance testing. We advise our customers and support the business line and sales.

Your Responsibilities

Independent planning, coordination, and execution of complex and new development work at the weapon subsystem level, including leading a development team (technical leadership in collaboration with the technical manager and chief engineers)

Creation of operational concepts, system concepts, analysis of system requirements, definition of resulting subsystem requirements (based on customer requirements), architecture and design, integration and testing of systems in the field of Airborne SIGINT

Technical coordination with departments and development partners for the implementation of requirements, up to qualification, while adhering to development processes
