Looking for a Section Leader to assist in our Market's Customer Service DepartmentOpen availability-expected to close 3-4 shifts per week 12:45PM-9:15PM, 1-2 Morning shifts per week 8AM-4:30PM
The Customer Service Section Leader oversees and manages all assigned section staff. Uses department sales, margin, labor and inventory turns to ensure sustainable net contribution. Responsible for managing sales, profits, staffing, image, and overall operations of the Customer Service department. In addition, s/he trains and oversees staff in accomplishing department goals.
Ensures that all Customer Service products are organized to meet the overall appearance of the designated section of the store.
This is a supervisory position.*Make schedule for cashiers, ordering equipment for the registers, handle customers' questions and complaints, train new employees, cashier.
Oversees, Manages and Ensures:
That all Customer Service products are organized to meet the overall appearance of the Customer Service section designated of the store
Ensures and oversees department merchandising, ordering, pricing and stocking of products
Prompt, stocking of Customer Service products, rotating stock and correct pricing
That Store Associates are keeping clean all Customer Service products areas according to Company cleanliness standards
Under the direction of the Store Manager will proactively lead his/her team to ensure the success of Customer Service Department's goals in revenues, expense, profitability, customer satisfaction, inventory shrinkage, and employee morale Inventory counts for the Customer Service products as and when needed
That all employees are following the Dress Code Policy
That all Customer Service Store Associates are trained and kept informed of safety department policies and procedures including Marukai Corporation Safety Standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 or older to sell alcohol, use sharp knives, use ladders, scaffolds or their substitutes above 6 feet in height, and to operate or assist in operating power-driven machinery or equipment
A minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience in a retail or grocery chain establishment also preferred, but not required
Customer service experience in a similar or comparable work environment, strong verbal communication skills supported by a pleasant and positive attitude of "can do" success
Strong operational skills with focus on great time management
Able to read, write, and do simple math problems
GED or High School equivalent is required
Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
