Communication & Marketing Coordinator Position Summary
Responsible for the implementation of communication and marketing plans to support organizational goals and objectives.
Works with director to conduct research, creates plans, and implements tactics to elevate the reputation and brand of Oak Hammock at the University of Florida.
Maintains appropriate and professional communications tools and channels to strengthen the relationship between Oak Hammock and its key stakeholders, including residents, staff, board of directors and the public-at-large.
Communication & Marketing Coordinator Job Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree with major coursework in journalism, public relations, communications, or related field required.
Two to four years' experience in similar role
Highly trained in AP style/corporate communications
Proficient in writing, editing, interviewing, media relations and crisis communications
Ability to work independently without close supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 products; Word, Excel, Adobe suite products, Canva, Facebook, Instagram (Metal), Constant Contact (or similar platforms)
Valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from work daily.
All applicants must complete and pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening.
