    Job Description:

    The School Psychologist plays a crucial role in the educational system, providing essential support to students, teachers, and parents. If you are passionate about helping children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally, this position is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social functioning.
    • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) and interventions.
    • Provide counseling and support to students dealing with academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
    • Promote a positive school climate through programs focused on mental health, anti-bullying, and social-emotional learning.
    • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students with diverse needs.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
    • Stay up-to-date on relevant research and best practices in the field of school psychology.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
    • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Colorado.

    Certifications:

    • National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) preferred.
    • CODepartment of Education School Psychologist License.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Empathy and compassion for the needs of students.
    • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in school psychology.
