Job Title:

Salesforce AdministratorAs the Salesforce Administrator at Purdue University, you'll primarily function as a fully competent and productive professional contributor who will complete objectives and work independently on large moderately complex projects or assignments under general supervision.

Build and maintain business intelligence solutions with an emphasis on data design, access, usage, security, and quality of information sets to meet Purdue University requirements and business needs.

May design and deploy while under the direction of a Senior Salesforce Administrator. Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs and processes.

Provide ongoing support and training to users, addressing questions and issues, and serving as Tier 2 support for common queries.

What We're Looking For:


  • Education and Experience Needed_
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of Two (2)
  • Three (3) years of experience in Salesforce administration or related roles
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration, including creating custom objects, UI design, and fields
  • Skills Needed:_
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform decisionmaking and optimize Salesforce solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organization
  • Detailoriented mindset with a focus on delivering highquality work and maintaining data integrity within the Salesforce platform
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team, with a proactive approach to problemsolving and task management
  • Preferred:_
  • Efficiency in Flow Builder and SQL/SOQL
  • Familiarity with Higher Education Data Architecture (HEDA) or experience working in an educational institution
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of data management best practices and experience with data analysis tools
  • Previous experience in a customerfacing role providing user support and training
