About Us:

Arabesque Conservatory of Music is excited to announce a unique initiative aimed at enhancing the computer literacy and digital skills of individuals with special needs.

Our goal is to empower students by providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the digital world confidently.

We are seeking patient, knowledgeable, and experienced Computer Skills Tutors to deliver personalized, in-home instruction on a contract basis.

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine the current computer skills and learning goals of each student.
Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and objectives of each student, focusing on building confidence and competence in using technology.
Utilize engaging, handson teaching methods to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting lesson plans as needed to ensure continued learning and mastery of skills.
Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other relevant professionals to provide updates on progress and receive feedback.
Stay uptodate with the latest educational technology and software to ensure the most effective and relevant instruction.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with individuals with special needs is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
A patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach to instruction.
Must have reliable transportation for inhome visits.
Availability to commit to a contract position with flexible scheduling based on client needs.

Contract Details:

Tutors are expected to have their own laptop or portable computer and any necessary software for teaching purposes.
