Education/ Work Experience:


Release of Information (ROI) Specialist I

  • High School or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred

Release of Information (ROI) Specialist II

  • Associates Degree preferably in Health Information Management or AHIMA ROI microcredential and six months work experience in HIM
  • In Lieu of Associate's Degree or AHIMA ROI microcredential, high school diploma or GED along with two years of work experience in HIM.

Release of Information (ROI) Specialist III

  • Associates Degree, preferably in Health Information Management or AHMIA ROI microcredential and one year of ROI work experience.
  • In Lieu of an Associate's Degree, high school diploma or GED along with three years of work experience with two years in HIM and one year in ROI.
  • For internal applicants, in lieu of an Associate's Degree or the AHIMA ROI microcredential, two years of ROI work experience and has met or exceeded the JHHS quality and productivity expectations for the previous six months.
