MDS Director for SNF

Compensation:
$ 95,000- $ 120,000 a year

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Current license as a registered nurse (RN)
Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation improvement processes
Familiarity with HEDIS measures and quality improvement initiatives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategies for process improvement
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee and manage the operations of a nursing home or medical office
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services
Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive work environment
Conduct regular meetings to address operational issues, review performance metrics, and implement improvement strategies
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in healthcare technology
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical documentation improvement initiatives

Note:
Critical care experience or previous experience as a doctor is highly desirable but not mandatory for this position.
