MDS Director for SNF


Compensation:
$ 95,000- $ 120,000 a year

Job Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Current license as a registered nurse (RN)
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical documentation improvement processes
  • Familiarity with HEDIS measures and quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals at all levels
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategies for process improvement
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage the operations of a nursing home or medical office
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive work environment
  • Conduct regular meetings to address operational issues, review performance metrics, and implement improvement strategies
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in healthcare technology
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical documentation improvement initiatives

Note:
Critical care experience or previous experience as a doctor is highly desirable but not mandatory for this position.
