    Description


    As an Entry Level Fundraising Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to acquire new donors and support our clients' missions.

    Your role will be pivotal in identifying potential donors, nurturing relationships, and securing financial support for our fundraising initiatives.


    Responsibilities:


    Research and identify potential donors across various channels, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and community organizations, utilizing databases, events, and referrals.

    Develop and execute donor acquisition strategies and campaigns to attract new donors and supporters to our fundraising events and initiatives.

    Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, providing personalized communication and stewardship to foster ongoing support and engagement.

    Craft compelling fundraising appeals and materials, such as letters, emails, and social media posts, to solicit donations and support from new and existing donors.

    Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and event planning, to ensure alignment of messaging and efforts to acquire and retain donors.

    Monitor and analyze donor acquisition metrics, including leads, conversions, and retention rates, and offer insights and recommendations for optimization.
    Assist in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns, including donor cultivation events, charity auctions, and online fundraising initiatives.
    Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to fundraising and donor acquisition.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, fundraising, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with donors and stakeholders.
    Excellent writing skills, capable of crafting compelling fundraising appeals and messages that resonate with donors.
    Highly organized with keen attention to detail, proficient in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
    Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
    Previous experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
