    Description

    The Clinical Associate of Surgical Skills is responsible for providing cadaveric needs for the basic anatomy and postgraduate education courses


    Prepares specimens including:
    harvesting, freezing, thawing, washing and wrapping for appropriate preservation and utilization for course use.

    Regular attendance is required to perform the functions of this position. The work hours are generally Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 4:00PM. Additional hours and weekends may be required. Lunch/breaks are dictated by workflow.

    Incumbent will maintain a customer-oriented awareness in acknowledging and responding to needs as they occur to assure that customer satisfaction is met at all times.

    Qualifications

    Applicant must meet one of the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Biological Sciences with one year of professional experience in a healthcare setting.
    • Associate Degree in Biological Sciences from an accredited university with 3 years of professional experience in a healthcare setting.
    • High School diploma with at least 10-15 years of professional experience in a healthcare setting.
