The LPN Acute Care provides patient care to an assigned group of patients according to the multidisciplinary plan of care.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to acutely ill patients with cardiac, medical, surgical and post critical care needs.
Typical direct care patients include those who are at minimal-to-moderate risk and to a large extent care is routine, standardized and outcomes are predictable.
