EHC is currently looking for aSystems Functional Analyst for a client in the south Houston area.
Job Summary:
Business ERP Systems Functional Analyst provides project coordination, functional expertise, and contributes to production support and analysis for mission-critical, enterprise-wide information systems, specifically for an Open Edge platform.
The Functional Analyst is responsible for approved project tracking and control for assigned modules or systems, serving as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the resolution of tickets, working closely with business on production issues, day-to-day problem analysis and issue tracking.
Primary Duties & Areas of Responsibility:
- Guide the Jira and Asana discussions and maintain activity log to help development team maintain priorities set by BA team.
- Appropriately communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items.
- Analyze customers' business requirements and tailor the use of the system to meet those objectives.
- Identifying potential risks or issues with proposed solutions and providing recommendations for addressing them.
- Manage communications, scheduling, and logistics for business and ERP specific projects.
- Help guide technical team to deliver a flexible and scalable solution.
- Ensure instructional materials are accurate.
- Respond to and resolve system failures and performance issues.
- Actively drive issue resolution and closely monitor its progress.
- Plan and facilitate requirements sessions to identify and validate requirements with corporate IS team, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Assisting with the integration of newly acquired businesses.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science field. Plus 5 yrs. in or around Manufacturing process.
- Experience in manufacturing ERP implementations/Migrations.
- Working knowledge of start to finish process from order demand to invoicing.
- Selfstarter with a sense of urgency, and ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Software implementation, integration, update support as needed.
- Analyze and refine business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Some Travel required.
Additional knowledge considered:
- Understanding of Progress 4GL libraries, Open Edge Studio, Progress AppServer, GUI tools for web services, MS SQL Server, Windows OS.
- Background in software development, tech support, or a technology integration role.
Pay:
$80, $90,000.00 per year
