    MSA has an opportunity for an Project Manager - Land for any of our following offices: Wisconsin - Appleton, Baraboo, Beaver Dam, Kiel, Madison, Marshfield, Rice Lake, Rhinelander; Iowa - Dubuque; Minnesota - Duluth, St Paul. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. Our agriculture team provides engineering services to dairy, beef, poultry, swine, grain, agro-chemical and animal genetic industries throughout the Midwest.     Responsibilities:

    The work you will do

    • Project management and serve as a client liaison
    • Preparation of agricultural design plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D software for swine, dairy, beef and poultry
    • Preparation of details, specifications, and bidding documents
    • Prepare of regulatory permits for projects
    • Complete technical reports for projects
    • Experience in finding and developing clients is a plus or a strong desire to help grow the agriculture engineering services market
    Qualifications:

    What you bring
    Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Biological Systems Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Civil, Biosystems & Agricultural Engineering, or related degree required
    • WI PE license or ability to obtain quickly strongly preferred
    • 7 or more years of agricultural engineering experience required
    • Previous experience with NRCS standards and specifications required
    • Experience with agricultural livestock systems design experience including swine, animal housing, waste storage, pumping stations, and piping systems required
    • Auto CAD Civil 3D experience required
    • Previous client liaison and management experience required
    • Previous project management training and experience developing projects through construction required
    • Prior work and management experience on a farm required
    • Experience completing Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans required

    • Paid Time Off All full-time employees will receive, at minimum, 17 days (thats 3+ weeks) of paid time off in the first year alone.
    • Paid Holidays MSA offers time off pay for 8 holidays in every calendar year.
    • Paid Parental Leave Both parents will receive 2 weeks of paid time off and birth parents are eligible for additional paid time off under MSAs Short Term Paid Leave. The paid 2 weeks of time also applies to adoption and foster care placement.
    • Supplemental Insurance MSA pays 100% for all employees to have life insurance, long-term disability insurance and short-term disability insurance.
    • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) MSA is an ESOP S-Corporation, which means that our company is 100% owned by us Through the ESOP, eligible employees receive MSA stock in the form of company shares as a percentage of compensation, at no cost to the employee.
    • 401k Retirement Savings Plan Employees can also choose to participate in a 401k plan, with a generous employer match that is immediately 100% vested.
    • Short Term Incentive (STIP) This program rewards employees who meet performance goals with a one-time annual STIP payment as a percentage of their eligible compensation recognition of individual accomplishments and achieving organizational goals. STIP payments are awarded if MSA reaches its corporate financial plan for the year.
