Description
  • You will take on the professional and disciplinary management of the operational, international freight department
  • This includes actively promoting services and conducting negotiations with customers and suppliers
  • You will also lead and develop the customer care department
  • If necessary, you will independently plan and dispatch international shipments
  • You will optimize handling processes and monitor the utilization of main runs
  • You will proactively analyze individual processes, implement continuous improvement measures, and ensure the development of your department
  • You will also ensure compliance with legally valid regulations and contribute your professional expertise to project work
What we expect:
  • Ideally, you have completed training as a commercial clerk (m/f/d) for freight forwarding and logistics services or have a comparable further education/studies in the field of transport and logistics
  • You have already gained solid professional experience in the international department of a freight forwarding company and ideally have sales experience in expanding and building customer relationships
  • You have already gained initial experience in leading and developing employees
  • Your strengths include excellent communication skills, a confident demeanor, and creativity with a solution-oriented approach
  • You have very good English skills and a strong hands-on mentality
  • An understanding of revenue and costs complements your profile
