As a Senior Accountant your typical day may involve:

Executing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
Assisting in the development and organization of financial statements, reports, and budget preparation, timely and accurately
Reviewing and analyzing variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Preparing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries
Preparing expenses analysis to support the annual budgeting process.
Support External Auditors with the annual audit and quarterly reviews
Balancing and maintaining subsidiary accounts by allocating, posting, verifying, and reconciling accounts receivable and payable
Assist with operational audits to assess compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Play an important part in the organization's financial management which involves all record reconciliations and reporting to essential parties
Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support the achievement of business goals

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of accounting experience required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial accounting statements, and business trends.
Proficiency in collaborating within a team setting and engaging with various levels of the organization.
Adequate experience with accounting software packages and MS Office; Excel, Word, Access, etc.
