    Job Description

    Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist seeking a per diem role with a reputable retail pharmacy environment. The position offers a consistent day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a great balance and predictable hours. You will be utilizing your pharmacy skills while working with Pioneer RX, a widely used computer system in retail pharmacy settings. This role requires flexibility as it involves travel to various locations as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a retail pharmacy setting.
    • Counsel patients on prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
    • Manage prescription orders using the Pioneer RX system.
    • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
    • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to provide excellent customer service.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license.
    • Proven experience working as a pharmacist in a retail environment.
    • Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system preferred.
    • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
    • Ability to travel to different locations as required.

    Schedule:

    • Day shift from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
    • Every other Monday, and every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday through the end of the year.
