Duties you will be responsible for:

Daily Duties

  • Scan procedure reports
  • Assist with recalls
  • Calculate procedure costs
  • File documentation into eCW system
  • Other duties as assigned

Front Desk duties

  • Ensure patient has current referral on date of service. Obtain referral if necessary.
  • Verify insurance benefits and eligibility prior to office visits & procedures.
  • Collect all applicable copayment, coinsurance, deductible or outstanding balance from the patient & post all payments collected.
  • Research & assist patients with questions regarding balances including collecting applicable payments.

Medical Assistant duties:


  • Triage patient, take vitals, enter chief complaint, past & present history into EMR system.
  • Enter all current medications and prescription into EMR system.
  • Ensure patient charts are complete and required records are requested.
  • Callin new prescriptions and refills and obtain authorization if necessary.

Care Coordinator duties:


  • Schedule all procedures to be performed by the physician.
  • Obtains all authorizations for procedures and tests.
  • Checkout patients at the end of their visit and provide next step instructions.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 2+ years experience in medical practice or similar setting
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience desired

  • GI experience desired
  • Willing to travel to different centers
