Hospitalist (SA Hospitalist Albany, Georgia asThis southwest Georgia Hospital is seeking up to seven board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine physicians to practice Hospitalist medicine.
Three hospitals in the system are located in communities ranging in population from 75K to 12K. Hospital bed sizes range from 400+ to 88 beds.The hospitalists will experience a broad pathology of patients and physician activities that includes patient care, teaching, research, and leadership related to hospital care.
As expected, hospitalists manage patients throughout the continuum of hospital care, often seeing patients in the ER, admitting them to inpatient units, following them as necessary into the critical care unit, and organizing post-acute care and transfer back to their primary care physician.
Highlights include~ Flexible scheduling

~12 hour shifts - 180 per year
~ Base salary of $275,000 plus additional bonus incentives of over $40,000 per year
~$25,000 sign on bonus
~ Average 16-18 patient contacts per day shift
