Are you an experienced special education teacher?

We are looking for full-time teachers to work in elementary and middle schools within Orange County.

Zen Educate is looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to children's educational journey and their communities. Substitute teachers will support children in the classroom and gain exposure to schools and invaluable experience.

Ideal Candidates:

• Fully certified special education teachers

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Build and lead teacher's lesson plans
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students' learning experiences and support them as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience as a full time SPED classroom teacher
• Bachelor's degree from a 4-yr college or university in the U.S.
• Satisfy the basic skills requirement
• Demonstrate subject-matter competency
• Pass the Reading Instruction Competence Assessment test
• Complete a course or pass an examination in the United States Constitution
• Finish a teacher preparation program
• Pass a background check and negative TB test before the hiring date

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's Degree

Pay:

• Teacher pay will reflect qualifications and experience level.
