Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to join our team. As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar panel systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures according to design specifications
• Perform electrical wiring and connect solar panels to inverters and electrical systems
• Conduct system testing to ensure proper functionality and performance
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with solar panel systems
• Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with power tools and hand tools
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to build and plumb solar panel arrays
• Familiarity with roof work and installation techniques
• Proficiency in fixture installation for solar panel mounting
• Understanding of high voltage systems and compliance with NEC regulations
• Forklift certification is a plus

This position requires physical stamina, as it involves working at heights, lifting heavy equipment, and being exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
