Description

Established and growing relocation company headquartered in Lorton, VA seeks conscientious Payroll Clerk to process payroll and perform general HR functions.

If you are a highly organized individual and enjoys assisting other team members then this job is for you Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Collects time records submitted via various means and accurately enters the data into the payroll processing system within established deadlines
  • Calculates payroll adjustments, processes biweekly payrolls, and maintains various payroll records for reporting and compliance purposes
  • Produces and audits employment files and payroll records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Researches and responds to various payrollrelated inquiries
  • Compiles and distributes various employee, payroll, insurance, and/or taxrelated reports on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis
  • Upholds and enforces company standards and procedures
  • Exercises a high degree of confidentiality while maintaining various employment records and other sensitive information for the company

REQUIREMENTS:


  • At least 1 year of exposure to payroll entry, calculation and submissions
  • Experience with QuickBooks Pro & PayCom preferred but not required
  • Experience with Hourly, Exempt, and Non-Exempt Payroll Processing
  • A keen attention to detail along with exceptional organizational skills
  • Incredibly strong problem solving abilities and investigative skills
  • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing work quality
  • Excellent time management skills to meet established deadlines
  • Possession of strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Demonstrated progression of responsibilities in prior positions held

$40, $55,000.00 per year
