Revenue Cycle AnalystSummary/Overview
Healing Partners is a rapidly growing wound care management company based in the Mid-Atlantic region currently hiring a Revenue Cycle Analyst.
Reporting directly to the VP of Revenue Cycle, the Revenue Cycle Analyst will play a crucial role within the RCM team by analyzing and reporting revenue for all Healing Partners entities.
Assisting billing operations by identifying trends, areas of improvement and implementing strategies to optimize revenue cycles.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct data analysis on accounts receivable reports; identify payer and coding trends that need attention and assist in establishing benchmarks.
Identify, investigate and anyalize circumstances of unpaid or partially paid claims (or trends) in accounts receivable; identify how to resolve conflicts and expidite payment; communicate and collaborate with Revenue Cycle Managers and billing team with recommendations.
Run and review standard practice management reports on a regular cadence (KPI, DSO and AR Aging); build custom reports to dig deeper into unpaid claimsProvide month end reporting package and analysis of AR efforts for VP of Revenue Cycle and leadership team.
Conduct audits of accounts with suspected data entry errors to ensure proper coding, charge entry and payment posting.
Education & Experience
4-year college degree or comparable work experience
At least 2 years experience in healthcare industry
At least 2 years experience in directly reporting in Healthcare Biling systems (Nextgen a plus)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Detail oriented, problem solver/analytical, flexible, and self-motivated
Proficiency with Microsoft (Outlook, Office Word, and Excel)
Experience with Medical billing company and/or physician billing
Independent, resourceful, and curious
Advanced-level skills in Excel required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail
Experience using and/or building custom reports (and visualizing data)
