- Improve patient and facility outcomes.
- Ensure/promote safe, effective, and efficient use of health information technology across the care continuum.
- Provide regional oversight of the health information technology for Trinity Health of New England, its hospitals, and clinics.
- Review medical informatics trends, experiences, and approaches, develop technical and application implementation strategies, and assist in the development of strategic and execution plans for health information technology.
- Lead and facilitate key clinical leadership groups in the development of required clinical content, protocols, workflows to ensure best practices are represented in health information technology.
- Represent medical staff in organizational discussions relating to the application and use of health information technology in the health care environment.
- Develop health informatics strategies in collaboration with other senior clinical, medical informatics, and operational leaders related to health information technology, procurement, implementation, maintenance, and optimization.
- Act as a change agent in the identification, development, planning, implementation, and value measurement of informatics strategies to support quality patient care and professional practice.
- 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday - Combined Informatics and Clinical time

- Informatics fellowship training is preferred.
- Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Health Informatics through the combination of education and experience. Fellowship trained preferred.
- Must be able to be credentialed as a trainer in the EPIC model.
