Purpose:
This position serves as a driver for all APS-2 Fleet vehicles in Pendleton, SC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, the individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.

Performs Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on equipment and completes a DA Form 2404 (Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet) to report any faults.
Follows proper safety procedures to minimize danger to themselves and others.
Uses correct hand signals to guide vehicles and equipment on the worksite.
Complies with all current driving laws and regulations.
Checks vehicle loading and ensures proper positioning and weight distribution.
Drives equipment to designated staging areas.
Drives equipment onto train carriages with guidance from Deutsche Bahn Load Masters.
Deploys with the Equipment Configuration Handoff Area (ECHA) team to other work sites.
Drives trucks to designated destinations for pickup and delivery, following instructions or using maps or Satellite Navigation (SAT NAV).
Secures loads to ensure safe and undamaged delivery.
Communicates and receives direction via radio or cellular phone.
Assists with loading and unloading of transported materials.
May be trained and utilized as a crossing guard for inbound/outbound trains.
Maintains accurate daily timesheets and manning reports.
Ensures strict compliance with safety practices and Amentum Safety Policies and Procedures.
