Solutions Architect
HOW A SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Perform solution scans and designing and estimating the cost of technical solutions in cloud environments that satisfy the requirements of growth opportunities
- Planning and designing cloud platform solutions
- Act as technical liaison between customer technical points of contact and GDIT project staff to facilitate IT strategic planning
- Respond to technical questions and research requests from customers and programs. Perform business case analysis to support decision making process
- Maintain technical proficiency by keeping current with the latest technologies, trends, standards, & products
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 14 years of experience in Information Technology and Cloud Infrastructures required.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with architecting and operating cloud solutions. Experience with onpremises to cloud migration, cloud computing and multicloud/hybrid cloud platforms. Strong knowledge of government procurement and proposal processes Experience developing lifecycle cost estimates for technical solutions. Strong communication, presentation, facilitation and writing skills. Ability to work independently or part of a cross functional team.
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect.
