Overview

Provides direction and leadership on the development of the curriculum resources for MyPath Schools, including curricular guides with scope and sequence documents, pacing guides, and related support.

Recommends the expansion or elimination of curricular resources based on internal and external requirements.

Supervises the selection and adoption of new textbooks, instructional materials, and methods under the direction of the Director of Education.

Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional methods and recommend revisions as needed.
Designs and implements professional learning to support the curriculum using effective practices, including
research on theory and content standards
Leads and develops MyPath Schools professional development for teachers, support staff, and administrators to assist in raising the level of instructional performance and student

achievement.
Provide guidance regarding the content of online course development for blended and virtual learning.
Lead the budgeting, ordering, inventory, and distribution of curricular resources.
Demonstrate knowledge of research-based best practices in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning
Coordinates the planning for the new teacher induction, to include the learning of current curriculum materials.
