Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Project Planning:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Project Manager.
2.
Communication Liaison:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and information flow.
3.Documentation Management:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and change orders, and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.
4.
Resource Coordination:
Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities and ensure efficient utilization.
5.
Progress Tracking:
Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverables, and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
6.Quality Assurance:
Support quality control efforts by monitoring construction activities, inspecting workmanship, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.
7.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and issues, escalate concerns to the Project Manager, and collaborate with the project team to develop mitigation strategies.
8.Budget Monitoring:
Assist in monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, identifying variances, and reporting on financial performance to ensure adherence to budgetary targets.
9.Safety Compliance:
Promote and enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all project personnel.
10.Team Support:
Provide administrative and logĂstical support to the Project Manager and project team, contributing to the overall success of the project.
Requirements:
- Construction experience is preferred but willing to train the right individual
- Previous experience in project coordination, construction administration, or related role is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in computer related programs and ability to learn
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and terminology is desirable.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
