    Description

    Quality Metalcraft (QMC) and Experi-Metal Inc (EMI) have led innovative structural solutions for the mobility industry for over 60 years; as one, QMC-EMI takes products from Prototype to Production, including the parts that could be used in the next airplane you take or the next car you buy.

    In Sterling Heights, we work on future transportation and mobility they undergo development. Our Aerospace Team produces parts that meet the needs of our customers today and tomorrow.

    As we grow, we're adding on two positions for machine operators (one day shift and one night shift). Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing / production and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:
    Operate and maintain the turret laser blanking machine
    Operate and maintain the automated press brake
    Ensure quality control standards are met
    Perform routine maintenance on machines
    Follow safety procedures and guidelines
    Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    Meet production quotas and deadlines


    Requirements:
    High School Diploma or GED
    Experience as a turret laser blanking machine operator and/or;
    Experience as an automated press brake operator
    Ability to work shift hours
    An understanding of the importance of consistent, timely attendance .
