Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Phlebotomist.

Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned
Demonstrates proper patient identification by using double identifiers, infection control practices and techniques, venipuncture site selection indicated by color bands, and usage and disposal of safety needles. Demonstrates that each barcode label is matched against wristband prior to placement on tube.
Demonstrates the ability to effectively draw patient blood samples with mínimal repeats, hemolization, and wrong tube types. Ability to follow Central Processing policy related to computer functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a High School or GED years in Hospital and/or Nursing home experience in all patient areas.

Basic computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Phlebotomy Certification preferred.

The salary range for the role is $ $25.50 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
