Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing electromagnetic and circuit models for power modules using Cambria, including Spice models and optimizing electrical design.
  • Selecting appropriate chips and solving complex problems such as oscillation, current sharing, crosstalk, and circulation current.
  • Conducting thermal resistance, flow resistance, and temperature simulations for power modules and optimizing their thermal design.
  • Leading the packaging process simulation for power modules, including warpage, thermal mechanical stress, and mold flow simulations.
  • Using simulation methods to identify root causes of reliability issues and completing lifetime assessment models and DFR for power modules.
  • Continuously improving the power module simulation platform by defining a fast, robust, and automated workflow and incorporating experimental results to improve model accuracy.
  • Staying updated on cutting-edge simulation theories and methods for power modules and utilizing AI and big data methods to accelerate design and process development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Material Science, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in power semiconductor product development, with a minimum of 5 years in power module thermal simulation, stress and reliability simulation, electrical simulation, and mold flow simulation.
