Under supervision, the Legal Talks Coordinator develops, maintains, and runs the day-to-day operations of the statewide AZCourtHelp Legal Talks Program.


Please note:


This is part-time position for 30 hours per week.

This is a limited appointment position ending June 30, 2024, which is contingent on future funding from the Board of Supervisors.

Typical Duties:

(Illustrative Only):


  • Recruits and trains volunteer Legal Talk presenters, mainly attorneys, from across Arizona.
  • Facilitates the Legal Talks on Zoom.
  • Coordinates and maintains the Legal Talks calendar.
  • Creates selfhelp videos from the Zoom Legal Talks videos.
  • Creates and executes a multimedia statewide marketing plan.
  • Composes and publishes statewide media publications.
  • Creates and conducts statewide marketing presentations.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and reports on program performance measures and user feedback.
  • Liaises with statewide partners (community organizations and public agencies).


Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: sitting, walking, standing, crouching, stooping, kneeling, reaching, bending and crawling for filing; working with and around others; dealing with interruptions; repetitive motion (hand/wrist/elbow/ shoulder) for computer work, filing, copying etc.; vision acuity (near) for computer work and reading documents; hearing and speech for ordinary conversation; finger dexterity and touch for typing.


Minimum Qualifications:


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is non-exempt from overtime.

  • Facilitating Zoom meetings.

  • Address culturally diverse public customers.
