- This position is responsible for providing scheduling, financial, and project coordination support for the production group.
- Supporting the production plan will involve working closely with operations leaders, and others to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve the company objectives relative to customer service, efficient resource/capacity utilization and inventory investment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Identify and resolve problems.
- Provide logistics planning support
- Back up production planner
- Assist with weekly time card needs
- Support implementation of innovative and aggressive approaches to transportation process and price reduction improvements
- Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives
- Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements
- Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Assist with customer support questions and information sharing.
- Monitor material availability and communicate as appropriate.
- Support order entry and project release functions.
- Assist with inbound and outbound shipping activities.
- Provide support for trucking load quoting and planning/setup.
- Assist with revenue forecast planning.
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience & Skills:
- High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) is required.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited college/ university is preferred.
- 13 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.

- Data access/retrieval skills with experience in data analysis, data manipulation using MS Excel and/or other tools as provided.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal company and external associates, both written and orally, including the telephone.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
- Ability to life up to 25lbs with or without accomodations
