Sign On Bonus Total of $3,000 - $$1,500 Day One on Post and $1,500 after 180 days of continuous employment, working at least 30 hours a week.**
Base Wages following training period is $36.50 per hour and $4.90 per hour Health & Welfare (up to 40 hours per week)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

As a Paragon Security Officer (PSO) you will observe and report activities and incidents while assigned to the DHS Federal Protective Service.

This includes providing for the security and safety of federally owned / leased facilities, federal property and personnel.

Additionally, primary responsibilities include precluding unauthorized access to facilities, responding to unusual or emergency situations, using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol, making periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspecting protection devices and fire control equipment.

Lastly, duties also include preserving order and acting to enforce regulations / directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

Additional compensation of $1.00 $3.00 may be available at sites requiring a Secret or Top Secret clearance.

The paid leave for full time employees is from hours / year based on longevity in the position, and sick leave is a minimum of 56 hours per year for a fulltime employee.
