Description


SAIC is seeking a Senior Knowledge Management Analyst/SharePoint Developer who has superior analytic, research, and technical skills and who is poised, articulate, and comfortable working with senior government officials.

This position is located at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA and requires full-time on-site support.

This position will support the Office of the Performance Improvement Officer/Director of Administration and Management (PIO/DA&M) in the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD).


Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement technologies to promote knowledge management and collaboration, including the development of storage platforms, the capture and categorization of information by communication with stakeholders, and building workflows in SharePoint Designer.
  • Solicit input from users for upgrades and additional functionality and research the availability of new tools to better meet user needs.
  • Create, update, and maintain Federal agency websites, social networking accounts, and SharePoint sites, and platforms in accordance with agency regulations and Federal law (e.g., OMB Circular No. A130, OMB Memorandum M1706, among others).

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills:

  • This position requires 8 years or more relevant experience in SharePoint development, preferably with the Department of Defense.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016, and 2019. Experience in SharePoint Online a plus.
  • Experience serving as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge in outofthe box and custom SharePoint development to cater to a large volume of documents and activities.
  • Fundamentally requires an open and creative mind, the ability to conduct rigorous analysis with limited oversight from senior management, and the ability to present difficult technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, analyzing, and reengineering business processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms.
  • Experience directly engaging with users of knowledge management tools to solicit input and troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficient research and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and professionalism while working at the client site.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic government work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to problemsolve in a timeconstrained environment and to take initiative and work independently as appropriate.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks through strong organizational skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Possess an Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification to qualify for Information Assurance Technician level 2 in accordance with DoDM
  • Experience building analytic/business intelligence dashboards with Microsoft Access, Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Experience with Rest API Query calls within SharePoint.
  • Experience creating and managing Web Applications, creating and migrating Site Collections, Managed Metadata, Site Columns, Content Types, custom Security driven lists/libraries.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
  • US Citizenship required.
