Public Health Dentist Job Description

Dentist Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive oral health care services to older adults, including preventive care, restorative care, and emergency care
Conduct oral health screenings and assessments
Develop and implement oral health promotion and prevention programs
Collaborate with other health care professionals to provide comprehensive care to older adults
Stay uptodate on the latest oral health research and best practices

Dentist Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
At least 2 years of experience working with older adults
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing highquality care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
