Responsibilities- As an Elder Law Attorney, you will provide legal services tailored to the unique needs and concerns of elderly individuals and their families
- You will handle a range of legal matters affecting older adults, including estate planning, guardianship, Medicaid planning, or probate
- Your role is crucial in ensuring that elderly clients receive the support and protection they need to navigate complex legal issues and safeguard their assets and wellbeing
- Client Consultation and Representation: Meet with clients to assess their legal needs and provide expert advice on matters related to elder law, including guardianship, probate, estate planning, or Medicaid
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court hearings, mediation sessions, and negotiations with opposing parties
- Legal Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of developments in elder law, probate, estate planning, guardianship, and Medicaid regulations
- Conduct legal research to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective legal strategies for clientsEnsure compliance with ethical standards and professional obligations in all aspects of legal practice
- Drafting Estate Planning Documents: Prepare legal documents tailored to the client's specific needs and create strategies to ensure desired outcomes
