- Responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, modifying and/or rebuilding a wide variety of CNC machine tools, test equipment and other associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Must be able to read, interpret and follow intricate and complex blueprints, schematics and instruction manuals as they apply to the hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical apparatus of CNC machine tools, test equipment and other manufacturing process equipment.
- Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal/vendor resources to research machine issues
- Participates actively in Crane Business Systems tools including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), problem solving, and recommending solutions to enhance and improve departmental and company-wide business activities.
- Endorses Company and departmental policies and safety regulations and procedures including LOTO, confined space, hot works, fall protection and high works.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- In-depth knowledge of both CNC (Fanuc) or PLC equipment and logic relay-controlled varequipment.
- Familiarity with M and G code.
- Proven success in Preventive Maintenance.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and CMMS.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
