Job Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated Activity Aide to join our team in providing engaging and fulfilling activities for our residents in a senior care setting.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and implement recreational activities for residents based on their individual needs and preferences
  • Assist in organizing events, outings, and programs to enhance residents' physical and mental wellbeing
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities align with residents' care plans
  • Provide support and encouragement to residents during activities to promote social interaction and participation
  • Maintain documentation of residents' participation and progress in activities

Requirements:


  • Experience or knowledge in aging issues counseling, memory care, or recreational therapy
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
  • Ability to work in a nursing home
  • Strong organizational skills for event planning and activity coordination
  • Compassionate attitude towards senior care and promoting overall wellbeing

Job Types:
