Your main tasks:

  • Supervision of all aspects of electrical engineering in current shipbuilding projects
  • Coordination of work packages with internal employees and, if necessary, external specialists
  • Examination of documents provided by subcontractors for plausibility
  • Design and supervision of the areas of energy distribution, propulsion, lighting, and automation
  • Reporting status of work packages to overall project management
  • Technical and commercial processing of customer requests
  • Budget responsibility for the electrical engineering portion of the project
  • Application of applicable regulations from classification societies and authorities
  • Organization of approval sessions with subcontractors, customers, and classification society Page 2 | 2

What you should bring:

  • Technician or completed degree in electrical engineering, ship operation technology, system engineering, or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in shipbuilding
  • Good knowledge of English in spoken and written form
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) & AutoCAD
  • Reliable and independent way of working
  • Team spirit, friendly and professional demeanor
