- Processes weekly payroll for Union employees and biweekly payroll for non-Union employees. Currently working towards digital time clocks and better PR automation.
- Updates payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as job title changes, exemptions, and deductions.
- Work with VP and benefits agency to perform tasks required to support the HR health and related benefit programs including but not limited to open and new employee enrollment, benefit questions, benefit issues, and COBRA.
- Work with leadership and benefits agency to create and promote employee wellness activities and documentation. Goal: re-establish wellness committee and initiatives.
- Maintains training documentation records and works with receptionist to enter into HRIS / LMS (softwares).
- Maintains, stocks, and advertises Masterson Store and maintains/disperse Masterson money to supervisors and managers as needed with HR Assistant.
- Full cycle non-union recruiting. May also assist with Union recruiting working with HR Assistant/Receptionist. Includes job descriptions, sourcing, onboarding, and 90 day review activities.
- Plans, organizes, and executes employee relations functions, including but not limited to company events, luncheons, volunteer activities, engagement opportunities, etc.
- Works with uniform supplier to maintain appropriate stock of uniforms as well as removal of former employee/addition of new employee clothing.
- Responsible for aspects of safety, food safety, continuous improvement/efficiency improvement and adhering to policies and procedures as related to the position
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' experience in a human resources role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Experience with payroll, HRIS, LMS software required. ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including powerpoint.
- Must maintain confidential information
- Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to interact with all levels of staff
