    Job Description:
    The Bachelor of Arts in Criminology Program at The Chicago School seeks individuals to develop and teach courses.
    All courses are 7 weeks long and are taught in the Canvas learning management system.
    The program is looking for an Adjunct Faculty to teach courses such as Pathways to Success, Law & Society, and Religion and Crime.
    The main duty is to enrich courses by sharing theoretical and practical knowledge, encouraging direct application to workplace areas within the field.

    Principal Duties:
    • Be available and responsive to students five out of seven days weekly
    • Active participation in discussion forums
    • Posting course-related announcements
    • Timely grading of assignments and providing quality feedback
    • Holding virtual office hours
    • Responding to student posts
    • Grading quizzes and assignments promptly
    • Responding to student emails within 24 hours
    • Issuing final grades on time
    • Complete an 8-week training course on online pedagogy
    Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Previous experience with online teaching
    Knowledge of victim roles in the justice system
    Effective communication skills
    Ability to interact with individuals of diverse backgrounds
    Position Qualifications:
    Master's degree in related field, Doctoral degree preferred
    Professional experience in criminal justice
    Commitment to research, practice, and scholarship
    Training in online pedagogy
