JOB REQUIREMENTS

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Demand Planner.

In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting and managing the demand for our B2B customers and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely order fulfillment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts for B2B customers and 3PL partners based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather relevant information and insights for demand forecasting.
  • Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Monitor and adjust forecast accuracy by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast error, bias, and inventory turnover.
  • Execute purchasing business processes with overseas suppliers, primarily focusing on purchase order processing as well as invoices and payments.
  • Maintain Supplier delivery status within various data management systems and or receipts reports with the ability to trouble shoot and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure optimal inventory levels, balancing customer demand and cost efficiency.
  • Provide input to the supplier and supply chain process in developing inventory priorities on existing items, new products, and product phaseouts.
  • Inventory evaluation between all warehouse locations and implementation of any necessary transfers.
  • Support Suppliers with product information including UCClabel and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with the production team to align manufacturing and supply chain activities with the demand forecast.
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure accurate forecasting, order fulfillment, and inventory management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in demand planning and supply chain management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. (preferred)
  • Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in a B2B and 3PL environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of B2B ecommerce platforms, such as Wayfair, Castlegate.
  • Excellent knowledge of forecasting methods and techniques.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office computer skills (Excel
  • Pivots, Vlookup, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and 3PL.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance

Pay:
From $65,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
