REGISTERED NURSE
TITLE OF IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:
ADMINISTRATOR
RISK OF EXPOSURE TO BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS - HIGH
DUTIES OF POSITION
- Maintain the quality of client care and services in line with the Agency's objectives and policies through planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of home services provided.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and investigate clinical content, medical history, and more from client records.
- Direct staff towards utilizing community resources effectively.
- Evaluate client needs and the suitability of home care.
- Develop the Plan of Care/Service after client assessment.
- Participate in community-related functions.
- Secure physician orders for continued care.
- Conduct client visits in the home setting.
- Review schedules and client records.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is complete.
- Perform other duties as requested.
JOB CONDITIONS
- Position is per diem.
- Work primarily at clients' homes with occasional lifting of medical supplies.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift weights up to 250 pounds.
- Travel required to and from clients' homes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Access clients' homes that may not be wheelchair accessible.
- Must have a smartphone.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION
- Use multi-line telephone, calculator, and medical nursing equipment.
- Utilize a smartphone and caregiver app.
COMPANY INFORMATION
- Access to client records for discussion with specified departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida.
- Training/experience in the provision of Personal Care Services.
