PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION


Perform entry-level Human Resources related duties and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, labor relations, affirmative action, recruitment and employment equity programs.

Works under direct supervision, reporting to the Manager, Human Resources.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with Senior Human Resources Business Partner and/or Human Resources Managers to communicate and administer various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Support recruitment activity as needed in partnership with talent acquisition.
  • Facilitate and/or provide training and orientation to the workforce.
  • Administration of HR objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Provide transactional support of employee and organizational changes.
  • Provides coaching and counseling to business to resolve employee issues, under the director of the Senior Human Resources Business Partner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4year degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and a minimum of 02 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Works effectively and relates well with others, including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. The employee exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Skilled in Microsoft Office Program (Word, Excel, Ppt)

Knowledge of HR Policies and Practices
