- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
- Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Re-stock material like toilet paper and hand towels in the washrooms.
- Put up signs to signal wet floors during cleaning or to show any other form of safety situation in the surroundings.
- When in contact with hazardous material, inform the appropriate authorities to handle the situation.
- Make sure assigned cleaning task are executed in a timely and orderly manner.
- Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours.
- Hours may vary and you must have flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods, walk, reach with arms and perform repetitive hand and wrist motions. The position also requires bending, twisting, and lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds
