    • Must have valid/unexpired Identification Documents to work in the United States.
    • Must have a valid/unexpired Food Handler Certification.
    • Must have flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • The Executive Sous Chef position requires flexible availability to accommodate working in accordance with the needs of the restaurant. Candidates for this position must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. A typical work week may consist of 45 or more hours.
    • While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods, walk, reach with arms and perform repetitive hand and wrist motions. The position also requires bending, twisting, and lifting up to twenty-five (50) pounds.
    • Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages and use hazardous equipment.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen management
    • 5+ years of experience in the restaurant industry
    • Computer experience and aptitude with the ability to use a POS system and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook

    Position Summary: The Executive Sous Chef is responsible for the overall operations of the back of house and kitchen area of the restaurant including assistance with inventory management, purchasing and maintaining purveyor relationships. The Executive Sous Chef reports to the Executive Chef and will directly manage the back of house (BOH) staff, oversees food preparation and supports the Executive Chef in maintaining a productive working atmosphere in the kitchen. Additionally, the Executive Sous Chef will ensure all kitchen staff is trained on proper food preparation and kitchen safety techniques.
